Office information assistant

Make your school's information easy to find.

Families shouldn't have to hunt through pages or call the office to learn the basics. We add an assistant to your existing website that answers the questions your front office hears every day, in your words, with your colors.

What it answers

The questions the office hears all day

We start with the 10-20 questions your secretaries answer most, then add yours.

1

Attendance

Absences, tardies, early check-out, and who to call.

2

Schedules

Bell times, early release, game dates, and upcoming events.

3

Lunch menu

Today's and this month's menu without opening a PDF.

4

Enrollment

What to bring and where to start for new students.

5

Handbook rules

Dress code, phones, visitors, and grading in plain language.

6

Other languages

Families can ask in Spanish and other languages.

Details most school assistants miss

Generic bots handle "what time does school start." Real parents ask the follow-ups:

  • Activity eligibility when absent. "Can my child play Friday if they miss school Thursday?" Answered from your own policy.
  • One-day transportation changes. "Can my child ride home with a friend, or switch from bus to car rider today?" Told exactly who to contact and by when.
  • Current lunch menu and game schedules that update, not a link to last year's page.
  • A clear hand-off. When it doesn't know, it says so and gives the office number instead of guessing.

Your school's colors

It looks like it belongs on your site

Pick a sample school. The assistant takes on the school's colors and crest. These are made-up examples, and yours will use your own.

FAQ

Common questions

Do we need to change our website?

No. We add one line of code to your current site. Your IT person or webmaster can paste it in a few minutes.

What if it doesn't know an answer?

It says so and shows your office phone number. It never guesses on policy.

Does it collect student information?

It's built to answer general questions and asks for no student data. Families are told to call the office for anything personal. See our privacy page.

Who controls the answers?

Your office. We write drafts from your own documents, you approve them, and you can change them any time.

Is this only for schools?

Schools come first. Businesses with the same problem are welcome to get in touch, and the same process works for them.
